Adamson Adventures seeks to provide opportunities for adventure in the UK, Europe and worldwide. It is run by David Adamson and I have been active in the outdoors for a number of years. Until recently, my activity was purely as a personal hobby but a few years ago I needed to start gaining qualifications, initially so that I could act as a volunteer leader for groups of teenagers. I started with the Summer Mountain Leader Award and, in terms of hills and mountains I have since gained the Winter Mountain Leader Award, the International Mountain Leader Award and the Single Pitch Award (SPA). However, not everyone wants to do hill and mountain based activities and I am also a BCU Level 3 Kayak Coach and I hold the 4 star open canoe award. For those who like land but not walking, I hold the Trail Cycle Leader Award. Finally, I also hold GNAS Archery Leader Award.

I am a keen traveller and I have led trips in Romania, South Africa, Swaziland and Malaysia. In addition I have travelled extensively in Eastern and Western Europe, Siberia and China. Adamson Adventures is AALA licensed which means we can offer courses to groups of under 18 year olds as well as to adults.
